Propriano
The harbour town of the gulf: the market, the fish restaurants, and the boats leaving for the coves.
Campomoro
At the end of the road, a Genoese tower on its rock and the coastal path to Tizzano, between granite and juniper.
Roccapina
Further south, in the Sartenais: a long pale beach and, above it, the rock shaped like a lion.
Filitosa
One of the most important prehistoric sites in Corsica: statue-menhirs carved thousands of years ago, among the olive trees.
Sartène
A granite town clinging to the mountain, stepped lanes, and cellars where you can taste the wines of Sartène.

Take to the sea
Alivu, the estate’s day boat, waits for you at Propriano: the gulf in half a day, Senetosa and Roccapina in a full day, or back to harbour at 7 pm. See the boat.
Walk
The Mare e Monti Sud crosses the gulf: five stages from Porticcio to Propriano, including Porto-Pollo – Olmeto, between beaches and Genoese towers. From Campomoro, the coastal path runs to the Senetosa lighthouse.
Dive
Along the rocky coast of Campomoro: groupers, moray eels, lobsters, red coral and gorgonians. The dive centres are in Propriano; masks and snorkels wait for you aboard the boat.
The markets
The covered Valinco market in Propriano on Sunday mornings; Sartène’s market on Place Porta on Saturday mornings: brocciu, charcuterie, honey, fruit, and the wines of Sartène.
The hot springs
Between Propriano and Olmeto, the Baracci baths: a sulphur spring known since Roman times, pools at 37 °C, renovated in 2025.
The beaches
Portigliolo and Baraci on the gulf; Cupabia and Porto-Pollo on the north shore; Campomoro at the end of the road. Quieter in June and September.
